TWD: Fluted Polenta and Ricotta Cake

Another wonderful challenge with the gang over at Tuesdays with Dorie. I am so glad that I got a chance to make this cake and enjoy it before getting hit with the flu – due to that, I will keep this short and sweet.

This cake is wonderful – very moist, slightly sweet, lots of wonderful aromas (Figs, Meyer Lemons, Honey) and a wonderful texture, thanks to the polenta.

Verdict – it will be a staple in our house this summer and you should as well. For the Recipe and more eye treats (the making of this wonderful cake) click here!

Wow – some of the best things from Italy — all combined in this pastry. I love polenta but don’t bake with it as much. This sounds marvelous :)
