Tis the season when we take a moment to thank you for your continued loyalty to Chez Us. This year we are giving away one of our most favorite products of 2017, the NY Shuk Harissa Collection.
We may not be the biggest food blogger out there, but without a doubt, we are very passionate about what we share with you. There is a lot of thought, time and care put into every recipe that is published here. They are tired and true over and over again before they make it to this little site. We love sharing with you what we are doing, and we love even more to hear what you are doing.
We only share products that we use in our home, and one of our favorites is the products from NY Shuk. We discovered them a couple years ago, and have never looked back. All of the products are amazing, and their harissa is a staple in our home. Their Harissa Collection simulates our tastebuds on an almost daily basis; wildly delicious, and easy enough to use from breakfast to dinner. We even keep a bottle or two in the van for those weekend excursions.
This year we are giving away one reader, in the USA, a chance to experience what we love. By December 31, 2017 (midnight PST), leave a comment below telling us about one of your favorite cooking ingredients from 2017. We will pick one lucky winner on January 1, 2018, and you will receive an NY Shuk Harissa Collection. No need to share, tweet, FB or IG this post, just a simple comment is all that is needed. If you want to share that is great if not, no worries.
We love having you here at our little virtual table, and we look forward to another delicious year together!
** disclaimer this give away is solely sponsored by the owners, Denise and Lenny, of Chez Us. No products are being donated by the company NY Shuk. We just love the product and want to share the love for this holiday season!
Winner, winner, harissa dinner?
I’m late to the party, but preserved lemons have been a bit of a revelation.
I just found these at my local deli, DiLaurentis at Pike Place Market. I would love to add these to my larder for maximum flavor!
I was able to take a bit of pride when I added blueberries to my rhubarb preserves this spring. Great contast replaced the texture rhubarb looses in preserving. And added a great flavor punch as well.
I’ve always been a fan of making my own spice mixes (I guess I like the process/alchemy of tinkering in my spice pantry, ha!) but this year I bought a bulk sized container of berbere spice at an Ethiopian market on Telegraph and I haven’t looked back. It’s going into everything now. I hope my guests have learned to tolerate the heat. (Honorable mention goes to collagen peptides, which isn’t as much of a cooking ingredient as a make-my-hair-and-skin-look-good ingredient.)
my favorite ingredient has been scallions!
Love the Harissa! I’ll be looking for the NY Shuk in my stores. Thanks for the information
Garlic is my favorite every year 🙂
ginger has been a recurring theme this year
yuzu, when I can find it!
Hi y’all
I’m in love with the brightness of a squirt or two of fresh citrus or lemon . It’s aromatic and fresh
