Hello Everyone! Did you have a great Thanksgiving weekend? Eat too much turkey? I thought I did a great job but when I got home on Saturday I weighed myself and the scale wonked out saying I gained not one but three pounds. WTH?!! Like I have said before, I think our scale is crazy, but I will own it even though I did pretty well. Or at least I thought I did. I blame it on eating out at too many Mexican restaurants as well as on the sodium in eating out all the time, as well as lack of exercise! I will keep this simple and quick this week as I am getting ready to go on vacation for twelve days, which should be a fun challenge too! Here it is Fit at Fifty Week Fourteen!
I would love to hear how you did this past week? Insight? Successes? Failures? Hope you did better than I did.
Speaking of vacation, I will try to update while I am away but we will have very limited access to email and internet connection. If I cannot get online to post Week Fifteen, I will update along with Week Sixteen.

Successes:
- Portion control; even though it looks as if I gained three pounds I was pretty good about not eating a lot and pushing away when full. I only had one small slice of pie too!
Failures:
- Gained 3 pounds
- Did not exercise when away – need to stay at hotels with a gym
What I ate and how I moved:
Sunday
Moving: 70 minutes spin
Breakfast: had bunch out at Nomica – duck fat rice with poached egg
Lunch:
Dinner: Skinny Taste butternut squash pea split soup with 2 cups of green salad, 1 slice of baguette and 2 glasses white wine
Snack:
Water: 5 glasses (16 oz each)
Monday
Moving: 75 minutes spin
Breakfast: 3 cups black coffee, 1 slice ciabatta bread toasted with 1/2 avocado and 1 poached egg
Lunch: 1 serving leftover Skinny Taste butternut squash split pea soup
Dinner: (forgot to note down dinner)
Snack:
Water: 5 glasses (16 oz each)
Tuesday – traveling
Moving: 75 minutes spin

Dinner: black lentils with garlic and shallots and 1 Basque chorizo and 2 glasses red wine.
