Chex™ Mix is our go-to snack at the airport; full of goodness and filling. If I am honest here, it is kind of on the healthy side as well, which is something we strive for when snacking. When Chex™ asked us to come up with a recipe for the Super Bowl, the first thing that came to mind was Mike’s Hot Honey being spread all over a pan of Chex™, and then browning until crunchy and golden. If you do not have access to Mike’s Hot Honey, this recipe works well with regular honey and your favorite hot sauce. Butter is a necessity, so don’t skimp on trying to use olive oil or coconut oil. It is okay to be a bit naughty now and then, go for the gold!
While I am good at preparing food for a party, when it comes to the logistics of decorating for an event, I am often clueless. If, it up to me, I would have laid out some footballs alongside the food, and pop open some beers. Chex™ made it easier for me with their great tips, as well as the fun party package full of goodies. I am totally digging on the Chex™ Mix make your own party bar for this Sunday! I am planning on loading it up with great toppings such as an assortment of different cheeses, bacon crumbles, nuts, as well as different flavored pretzels. Lenny loves his mix to be fully loaded so this will be fun! What toppings would you add to your Chex™ Mix bar?
