Not going to lie, the past week has been challenging with everything that is going on in the world. Does anyone else remember the Golden Rules? Something along the lines of treating others as you want to be treated? Seems to me all of this hate is definitely not leading the world in the right direction. It has come to the point where I do not even want to open a newspaper or click on the news. After a trying week, we kept the weekend light by enjoying dinner with friends one evening, staying in and cooking another time and then catching up at brunch with a friend we have not seen in 2 years. I bought these pretty dahlias as they reminded me of the ones my grandmother grew, and it put a smile on my face. Did you do anything fun this weekend? Anyone else in a funk? Here is a little Crushing On to add some lightness to an otherwise challenging time. Hoping y’all have a great weekend!
