Whole~Grain Mornings Give Away

2013 whizzed by us;  literally.  We were talking about it on a flight back from Boston last week, and realized that in two months, we were only home for one week.  Insane!  We are definitely looking forward to a month or maybe two of time spent at home, filled with nesting, cooking, entertaining and catching up with our personal lives and Chez Us.

With the insanity of working and the holidays, we never had a chance to think about how we wanted to give back to one of our wonderful readers.  We wish we could give everyone something, but will have to continue doing so with delicious recipes until we win the lotto!  In the meantime, we want to give one lucky reader a gift box from our favorite gift box provider, Eat Boutique.  What we love about Maggie’s gift boxes is how personal they are, how they are each packed with love and the products are tried and tasted.  They are really unique.

Early mornings are one of our most important rituals in our house.  They often begin with me slipping out of bed while it is still dark, hitting a spin class, sneaking back in to make Lenny coffee and then breakfast.  Sometimes it is as easy as poached eggs over black beans, a bowl of Marge Granola with yogurt or steel cut oats with fresh roasted fruit or maybe wholegrain waffles.  One of our new year’s resolutions is to invite our friend Megan to breakfast often via her newly released book Whole~Grain Mornings.  We want you (well, one of you) to join along.

From today until midnight, January 10th, 2014, you can enter to win a lovely Whole-Grain  Mornings gift box filled with delicious goodies and Megan’s new book.  It is really simple, all you have to do is leave a comment below, sharing with us how you plan to start 2014 early mornings.  We will pick a winner on the 11th of January, then have your gift box shipped out.  This giveaway is open to all USA residents.

  1. oatmeal or scrambled eggs with spinach and mushrooms!

  2. It only took me 50 some years to finally learn the benefits of eating breakfast every day! I will continue to do so. Even if I only have time for a small bowl of cereal. Breakfast really is the most important meal of the day.

  3. Ah, I wish I could change my breakfast eating habits but I am a girl of…. habit. 2 pains au lait with cherry jam and café au lait. I would love to prepare something healthier, like whole-grain muffins, scrambled eggs and mmmm beans for lunch more often.

    I love Eat Boutique!
