What changes have you made, so far, to help eliminate that “jelly belly”?
Last week was a bit of a wash for us as we were traveling back to the city from Boston as well we had a few left-over/post holiday celebrations. Our new year officially started on Monday. I am proud to say, that I have signed up for an unlimited month of torture at the spin gym, my goal is to go at least 5 times a week for the next month. As well I have ordered my Reebok EasyTones and cannot wait to add a walking regimen to my daily life. Lenny, has gone for a mountain bike ride as well as he has been hitting the climbing gym.
We have started a two week cleanse and detox from alcohol as well. We will be eating lighter meals for a couple days and then easing into our detox soup. I am remaking it, with a new twist. Our biggest eating challenge is mostly likely portion control and snacking. So I have been cutting up carrots, celery and fennel and keeping them in a big container in the fridge. I also make one of our low-fat dips to have with the fresh veggies. As well as being a great munchie to keep out on the kitchen counter, both are easy to transport to the office. It really helps to have something light to snack on when the urge to go out to get a cookie strikes.
